How to Install the Chat client

Download, Install and Start the Pristine Chat client.

These are the shorter instructions for installing Pristine Chat:

1. Download Pristine Chat.
   
   Click the link below to start copying the Pristine Chat installer to your computer:
   
   Download Pristine Chat
   
   When prompted, choose to Open or Run the installation program file (pristinecl.exe).

   Click for Step-by-Step download screens.

   Note: To users with software firewalls... You MUST grant Pristine Chat Full Permissions.

2. Install Pristine Chat
   
   The installer starts automatically when the download is done. Follow the instructions in the installer. Notes:
   
   
   • Take the defaults.
     
     
   • When prompted, select Yes to Add Icon to Desktop.
     
     
   • When prompted, select No to Start Pristine Chat on Windows Startup. (You can set Pristine Chat to start automatically later.)
     
     
   • You will most likely have to restart your computer after installation is complete.

3. Start hotComm

   At the end of registration, Pristine Chat starts automatically.

   Note: If you had to restart your computer after installation, start Pristine Chat by double-clicking on the Pristine Chat icon on your desktop.

   Wait while Pristine Chat goes online (connects to the Pristine Chat server). When Pristine Chat is online, then you can connect to the available Pristine chat rooms.

   To connect to the Mastertrader Chat Room, click on the link at the top of the page.

   Am I online yet?

   Look at the hotComm icon in the lower right corner of your Windows taskbar near the time. It is a headset. When the earphones turn red and blue, Pristine Chat is online. When the earphones are white, it is offline.

   

   It may take time for Pristine Chat to go online, so please wait. If Pristine Chat never goes online, contact Pristine Support at 1-800-340-6477.
